What is the HOLO Marketplace?

Buying and selling cards directly with other collectors. The Marketplace is where collectors buy and sell cards with each other. HOLO runs the platform and holds the cards; the seller is another collector. Why it's safer than a private sale Every card listed is already in HOLO's vault. That changes everything: - The card provably exists and is exactly as described — we're holding it - The seller can't disappear with your money and no card - Nothing needs posting between strangers - Transfer is instant on payment Compare that to buying from a stranger on social media, where you send money and hope. What you can buy Cards other collectors pulled from HOLO packs. Full details, condition, grade and provenance are visible before you buy. Buying vs the Store Store packs are a chance at a card. Marketplace is buying a specific known card at a known price. If there's a particular card you want, the Marketplace is usually the sensible route. Fees Buyers pay the listed price. Buying a card on the Marketplace

How to purchase a listed card. Finding a card Browse the Marketplace and filter by franchise. Each listing shows the price, the card, its condition or grade, and the seller's username. Before buying Open the listing and check: - Condition or grade — graded cards show the company and grade - Provenance — the card's history on HOLO - The card details — set, number, year, variant Buying Select the listing and check out. Payment goes through Beam — PromptPay, card, internet banking or e-wallet. While your order is being paid, the listing is reserved so nobody else can buy it out from under you. After payment Ownership transfers to you immediately and the card appears in your Vault. The card doesn't physically move — it's already at HOLO. From there it's yours: ship it, keep it, re-list it, or sell it back. If payment fails The reservation is released and the card goes back on sale. You aren't charged. Buyer protection Because we hold the card and verify it before listing, "not as described" is largely designed out. Listing one of your cards for sale

How to sell a card to another collector. Any individually tracked card in your Vault can be listed. Requirements You need verified identity (KYC) before you can receive money from a sale. Set that up first — see Why HOLO verifies your identity. Listing 1. Open the card in your Vault. 2. Choose to list it. 3. Set your price. The assessed value is shown as a reference. 4. Confirm. Your listing goes live immediately. Pricing The assessed value is a guide, not a rule. Look at what comparable cards are listed at. Priced too high, it sits; too low and you leave money behind. Remember the 8% fee comes out of your sale price when you're working out what you'll actually receive. While it's listed The card stays in your Vault but is marked as listed. You can't ship it or sell it back while a listing is active — cancel the listing first. When it sells Payment settles, ownership transfers to the buyer, and your share is credited to your Seller Balance. See When and how you get paid. What can't be listed Pooled Bronze cards can't be listed individually, because they aren't individually tracked.

Marketplace fees — the 8% breakdown

Exactly what HOLO deducts from a Marketplace sale. Sellers pay a total of 8% on each Marketplace sale. A worked example Sell a card for ฿1,000: - Sale price: ฿1,000 - HOLO fee (8%): ฿80 - You receive: ฿920 into your Seller Balance VAT Where VAT applies, the fee is VAT-inclusive — the 8% already contains it, rather than VAT being added on top. Withholding tax Thai law requires withholding tax on service fees. HOLO files this on your behalf — you don't need to handle it yourself. It's reflected in your tax invoice. Comparing to buyback Instant buyback pays 90% of assessed value with no fee and no waiting. Marketplace pays 92% of whatever price you set, but only when it sells. See Buyback or Marketplace.

When and how you get paid

What happens to your money after a Marketplace sale. The moment of sale When a buyer's payment settles, three things happen together: 1. Ownership of the card transfers to the buyer 2. Your share is credited to your Seller Balance 3. The accounting record is written There's no holding period and no escrow wait. The credit is immediate. Where the money goes Into your Seller Balance — an account balance on HOLO, not your bank account. Getting it to your bank Request a withdrawal from your Seller Balance. See Withdrawing to your bank account. Using it on HOLO instead Seller Balance can pay for shipping fees directly, without withdrawing. How much you receive Sale price minus the 8% fee. See Marketplace fees. KYC is required You can't withdraw without verified identity. If you sell before verifying, the money is safely credited and waits — but you'll need to complete verification to take it out. Verify before you start selling so there's no delay when you want your money.

Editing or cancelling a listing

Changing your mind about a card you've listed. Listing statuses | Status | Meaning | | --------- | ----------------------------------------- | | Active | Live and buyable | | Reserved | A buyer is mid-checkout; temporarily held | | Sold | Complete; ownership transferred | | Cancelled | You withdrew it | | Expired | It reached the end of its listing period | Cancelling You can cancel any Active listing. The card returns to normal in your Vault and can be shipped, sold back, or re-listed. While Reserved A reserved listing can't be cancelled — someone is partway through paying for it. If their payment fails or times out, the reservation releases and it returns to Active, at which point you can cancel. This is deliberate: a seller shouldn't be able to yank a card away from a buyer who is entering their card details. Changing the price Cancel the existing listing and create a new one at the new price. After it's sold Sold is final. Ownership has transferred and the buyer has paid. Safety, disputes and refunds

What protects you and what to do if something goes wrong. What makes it safe Every listed card is in HOLO's custody, verified and described by us. The seller never handles your money and you never depend on them posting anything. The whole class of problems around private sales — cards that never arrive, conditions that were misrepresented, sellers who vanish — is designed out. If something is wrong Contact support with the order reference and what's wrong. Because we hold the card and have its full record, we can check the facts directly rather than adjudicating between two accounts of events. Refunds Where a refund is due it's credited to your Seller Balance, from which you can withdraw to your bank. See Refunds — when and how. Buyer's remorse Deciding you'd rather not have bought it isn't grounds for a refund. Marketplace purchases are of specific, fully described cards you chose deliberately — check the details before committing. Reporting a listing If a listing looks wrong — misleading description, suspicious pricing — report it to support. Every card is verified before listing, but tell us if something looks off. Fair play Manipulating the Marketplace — wash trading between your own accounts, artificially inflating prices, coordinated bidding — is prohibited and will cost you your account. See Fair play.
