Home Verification (KYC) Why HOLO verifies your identity

Why HOLO verifies your identity

Last updated on Aug 11, 2026

What verification is for and when you need it.

Identity verification — often called KYC, "Know Your Customer" — confirms you are who you say you are.

When you need it

Required for:

  • Withdrawing money to your bank

  • Downloading tax invoices

  • Selling on the Marketplace

  • Claiming the daily free pack

Not required for:

  • Buying packs

  • Opening packs

  • Shipping cards to yourself

  • Selling cards back to HOLO (though withdrawing the proceeds does require it)

Why it's necessary

  • The law. Paying out money to individuals in Thailand carries identity obligations.

  • Tax. Tax documents must carry a real legal identity.

  • Your security. Payouts go only to a bank account in your verified name, so someone who compromises your account still can't redirect your money.

  • Fairness. The daily free pack is genuinely free, which makes it exactly the thing someone would create fifty throwaway accounts to farm. Verification ties one claim to one real person, so the people actually collecting aren't competing
with bots for the same stock.

What you'll provide

Privacy

Verification data is used for identity, payouts and tax documents. It is never shown to other collectors — they see only your username. See Privacy and your data.

Do it before you need it

Verification is reviewed by a person and isn't instant. Verify early so it isn't standing between you and your money later.
