How VIP works and how it differs from levels.
VIP is separate from levels. Levels are permanent and reflect lifetime EXP. VIP is time-limited and has to be renewed.
Getting VIP
VIP is granted when you reach Level 10 (Legend), which requires 50,000 lifetime EXP. It then lasts 365 days.
Renewing it
To keep VIP past its expiry you need 25,000 EXP within a rolling 365-day window. The window runs from your most recent renewal.
Your Rewards page shows your current VIP status, when it expires, and how much EXP you've earned inside the current window.
What happens if it lapses
You lose the VIP benefits below. Your level is unaffected — level is lifetime and can never be lost. Earn back to the renewal threshold and VIP returns.
VIP benefits
| Benefit | Rate |
|---|---|
| Off packs | 5% |
| Off all HOLO-sold items (packs and single cards) | 3% |
| Off your Marketplace selling fee | 50% |
The all-HOLO discount is VIP-only — no level grants it. The Marketplace fee discount is substantial: it takes the seller's 8% fee down to 4%, and HOLO absorbs the difference rather than the buyer paying more.
How the rates interact
Discounts never stack. See Level and VIP discounts explained.
Rates are configurable by HOLO and the figures above are the current defaults. Your Rewards page always shows what actually applies to you.
