Whether HOLO accepts cards you already own from outside the platform.
Not at the moment. HOLO doesn't currently accept cards sent in from outside the platform.
What this means
-
- Please don't post cards to us. We can't process them, and we can't be responsible for cards that arrive unannounced.
-
You can't list cards on the Marketplace that you didn't get from HOLO.
Everything listed has to have come from a HOLO pack, so that we can vouch for its authenticity and condition.
Why it works this way
Every card on the HOLO Marketplace has been through our hands. We know where it came from, we've assessed its condition, and we're physically holding it. That's what lets a buyer purchase from a stranger without any of the usual risk.
Accepting cards from outside would mean building an intake and authentication operation to the same standard. It's something we'd want to do properly rather than partially.
What you can sell
Anything in your Vault — cards you pulled from HOLO packs. You can:
-
List it on the Marketplace for other collectors
-
Sell it back to HOLO instantly at 90% of assessed value
See Instant buyback and Listing a card for sale.
Will this change?
Possibly. If it does, we'll announce it.
If you have a collection you'd want to bring across, it's worth telling support — knowing there's demand helps us prioritise it.
